We have general session from 9:00am to 10:30am and the subject/topic specific roundtables from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

MYP/DP Integration of First Peoples Principles of Learning

  • Start the conversation and engage in a process
  • Reflect on our own worldview and implicit biases
  • Upack the implication of a colonial system and the importance of decolonization in education
  • Identify areas for change/inclusion and an opportunity to collaborate/co-teach on classroom strategies  
  • Connect and commit: with ourselves, our place, and our community
This interactive session will start us on the path to Indigenizing our classrooms and allow us some time to collaborate on ideas and ways of integrating First Peolples Principles of Learning into our curriculum and our practice.
